Are You Smarter than a SDoL 5th Grader 2011 a Huge Success!

Our second annual "Are You Smarter than a SDoL 5th Grader" event was a great success! Many thanks to our wonderful celebrity contestants, the 25 fabulous 5th grade students and our magnificent emcee, WGAL's Barbara Barr!

The evening was a great way to have some fun, while also raising money to support teaching excellence and student success for School District of Lancaster students!

Congratulations to Linda Frank, the lucky winner of the Red Corvette!

All 1200 tickets for the car were sold with people as far away as Florida and California purchasing chances, but the winner ended up being a member of the SDoL team!

Linda works at Wickersham Elementary School and also is an alumna of the District! She got her car last week and is enjoying being behind the wheel! So be on the look out for Linda driving her Red Tornado!
