Donations
The Lancaster Foundation for Educational Enrichment is supported by gifts from individuals, businesses, and foundations. Individual gifts may be cash, stock, in-kind, or a bequest. Business support can be an outright gift, in-kind, or through the Pennsylvania Educational Investment Tax Credit program. Foundation support includes donations and competitive grants.
Giving to an educational foundation differs from paying taxes because the giver has a choice. When gifts are made to a foundation that supports a public school, the donor makes a free-will choice, believing those dollars will go directly to students and assuming that positive change will occur.
